John-Mark is a Non-Executive Director at CCMFL and he is a Banker and a Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) by Profession. He is currently the Director of Finance and Administration with Lots Services, an Information Technology consulting firm.   Prior to this position, John-Mark worked with the First Atlantic Bank as the Deputy Head of Treasury where he contributed significantly. His contributions included: designing and developing a stock costing model which was used to solve a perennial problem of foreign exchange revaluation losses in the Bank; designing, structuring and executing a complex six-month USD 50 million Swap transaction between First Atlantic and Bank of Ghana, which yielded about USD 2 million income for the Bank; Acting as the Lead Financial Analyst in the valuation and share pricing and the preparation of the Investor Memorandum of the Bank and participated in negotiations at various stages leading to the execution of the deal; playing a key role in the preparation of the Offer Document to Shareholders.

He also worked with the National Trust Holding Company (NTHC) and the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) as a Research Analyst and Investment Analyst respectively where he was involved in several financial research publications and corporate finance and advisory. In addition, he is a part-time lecturer on Capital Markets and Treasury Operations at the Bank of Ghana Training School and other tertiary institutions.

John-Mark is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics. He holds an MPhil Degree in Economics and a First Class Degree in Economics both from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is the recipient of the Prof. Ben Amoako-Adu’s award of excellence for being adjudged the Best Graduating Student in Economics for the 2002 academic year. John-Mark has also undertaken various courses including stock exchange courses and he has attended various seminars and training programs both in Ghana and Abroad.
