Sammy is a Non-Executive Director of CCMFL.   He is a Chartered Accountant and Management Consultant by profession. He is currently a Partner of ASKE Synergies, a Chartered Accounting and Tax Consultants. Prior to this, he was an Audit Manager with CFY Partners where he led Audit teams from planning to completion whilst monitoring and reviewing the work of other junior staff. He is responsible for all aspects of planning, including resourcing, coordinating managers/ partners, budgeting, client meetings and visits. He also performs preliminary analytical review and highlight risk areas for further audit investigation.

 Sammy has over 20 years of experience in senior and management positions. He was also an Audit Manager at DeTris Consult and the Administrative and Accounts Manager at the West African Drilling Services Limited for over a decade where he was responsible for coordinating the Company’s transactions with its bankers in Ghana, Mali, Guinea, Burkina and Cote d’Ivoire.                      

 Sammy holds the Final Certification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and a Bachelor of Art Degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. In addition, he is a Finalist of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Ghana) examinations.

He has attended various seminars and training programs both in Ghana and Abroad in the area of Auditing, Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting, Management, Accounting Softwares, Governance, and Accounting for Exploration and Mineral Resources.
